Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about charter bookings, vessel specifications, and what to expect during your time on the water.

What is the booking process?

Initial enquiries can be made through the contact form or by phone. Once we understand your preferred dates and group size, we'll confirm vessel availability and provide a booking confirmation. A deposit secures your charter, with the balance due before departure.

What should guests bring?

Comfortable clothing suitable for marine conditions, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and soft-soled shoes. For overnight charters, bring personal items and any specific toiletries. Towels and basic amenities are provided onboard.

Are charters available during monsoon season?

River and coastal cruises operate year-round. Offshore passages to islands like Tioman are scheduled between April and October when sea conditions are calmer and more predictable. Weather monitoring is ongoing, and routes may adjust if conditions change.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

Yes, please inform us of any dietary preferences or restrictions when booking. Meals can be tailored to vegetarian, halal, or other requirements. We source ingredients locally and prepare dishes fresh onboard.

What happens if weather conditions deteriorate?

Safety is the priority. If conditions become unsuitable before departure, we'll work with you to reschedule at no additional charge. If weather changes during a charter, the crew may alter the route to more sheltered waters or shorten the passage as needed.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the charter date receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee. Cancellations within 14 days may forfeit the deposit. Weather-related cancellations initiated by Nautiq are fully refundable or can be rescheduled.
